The role
This is a full time on-site role located in Andover for a Quality Assurance Auditor. We are looking for a candidate to fill either our AM shift 6-2:30pm or PM shift 2:30-11pm, with occasional weekend work as required.
Key responsibilities:

Conduct Internal Audits: Plan, schedule and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory standards (eg. GMP, Fabrication, Hygiene, Allergen)

Audit Reports: Document audit findings clearly and accurately, highlighting non-compliances, observations, and opportunities for improvement.

Internal and External Non-Conformances: Communicating non-compliance clearly and assisting with root cause, CAPA, and ensuring timely closures of non-conformances.

External Audits: Assist in customer, certification body and regulatory authority audits and inspections.

Continuous Improvement: Identify trends, recurring issues and improvement opportunities in processes and quality systems.

Training & Awareness: Support training initiatives related to food safety and quality standards, procedures and audit readiness.

Maintain Records: Ensure proper maintenance of audit documentation and quality records.

Report to QA Manager: Provide regular updates, summaries and analysis of audit performance and compliance status.
Requirements:
- Experience in a technical role within the UK food manufacturing industry (bakery is a bonus)
- HACCP and Food Safety qualifications
- Degree in food science or related subject
- Proficient in IT
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator
